Since the enactment of Colorado Amendment 64, adults aged 21 or older can grow up to 6 cannabis plants (with no more than half being mature flowering plants), privately in a locked space, legally possess all cannabis from the plants they grow (as long as it stays where it was grown). You can have 3 flowering and 3 non-flowering plant. A plant is considered anything 8 inches in height or above. Washington State’s initiative 502 legalized non-medical, recreational use of marijuana by people 21 years of age or older. However, only licensed growers, called “producers” under the law, can legally raise pot plants Space Requirements: You will need at least a 4ft x 4ft space w/ 7 feet high ceiling, which is about the size of a standard closet. There are 2 options for building your room, a DIY option, or a pre-fabricated grow tent.
